BALDING MEN

Alpecin shampoo has set up an online "baldness" calculator to determine the future of your follicles. The "Baldness Calculator" asks you 12 questions -- then spits out your odds of losing your hair in the years ahead.

If the results are bad and you are certain to face a bald future", don't worry -- you're not alone. These famous "baldies"have done OK without the help of hair:

123456789.... COOL!

I love random crap like this... And I have an obsession with having to "rub the clock for luck" when its 5:55 or 2:22, times like that. So you can imagine my fascination when i found this out.

Today marks a moment in time that happens only once in a lifetime. At 12:34:56 this afternoon take note! Why? Because it's also July 8, 2009. If you take all those numbers and put them together you get 12:34:56/7/8/9. Weird, huh?

Another cool moment is just a few years away....at the exact moment of the minute of silence on Remembrance Day, 2011, we will experience 11:11:11/11/11/11.

Very interesting. To me at least...

REMEBERING FARRAH FAWCETT

Farrah Fawcett, the golden girl whose best-selling poster and "Charlie's Angels" stardom made her one of the most famous faces in the world, died June 25 at 62.

Fawcett's beauty and her gleaming smile was printed on millions of posters initially made her famous. But she later established herself as a serious actress. She starred as a battered wife in the 1984 TV movie "The Burning Bed." She appeared on stage as a woman who extracts vengeance from a would-be rapist in William Mastrosimone's play "Extremities."

She reprised the "Extremities" role on film in 1986. Other Fawcett films include "Logan's Run" (1976), "Saturn 3" (1980), "The Cannonball Run" (1981), "The Apostle" (1997) and the Robert Altman-directed "Dr. T and the Women" (2000).

The Charlie's Angels alum bravely battled cancer for the last several years.

Her documentary “Farrah’s Story” “chronicled her fight against cancer. The world watched her bravely tell her story, and now we watch her fight end.

Goodnight, angel.

JON & KATE "SEPER-EIGHT"

I know I haven't blogged in forever! (Had alot of time off, I like to this at work) lol. And how fitting it's about Jon & Kate... AGAIN!! Hey, what can I say? They are the talk of the town.

So the big TV talk is the separation of Jon and Kate...So many things you can talk about here...Is divorcing on TV taking reality TV too far? Who's fault is it? What happens to the kids? Should the kids be left out of the show now? Should they just cancel the whole program? Is this too personal for TV? Do you feel uncomfortable now watching the show?...

I think that going through a divorce is hard on everyone, whether it be right or wrong its never a pleasant time and it should be dealt with compassion, discretion and privacy. There's always two sides to every story and TV will just create two camps..Team Jon and Team Kate people don't need that. Its personal and should be dealt with in private not in a public forum like TV...As I said there's always two sides to every story...who's right or who's wrong cannot always be judged by others ,we all don't understand the circumstances of other people's private lives...I think it's time now to remove the children from the program, it seems that it's no longer about Jon and Kate plus 8, but now more Jon and Kate" seper-eight!!"... It"s time to pull the plug on this show, the entire concept of the show is destroyed, its taken a left turn and it's no longer cute stories about the trials and tribulations of raising multiples but the tragic demise of another TV relationship . Can you feel comfortable watching these people cry every episode and soon, no doubt, blaming each other for what went wrong...This is now way too personal for TV, its not entertainment, its voyeurism at its worst...This should be a personal time for them, not family entertainment....So I ask again, would you pull the show or keep on watching? Is this too personal or do you think its only right to follow it through till the end...

I say pull it and lets all get on with our own lives.

BIRTHDAYS

Do you remember what you've done for your birthday every year? I don't remember all of mine, But I do remember most. Last year Cory and I celebrated ours together since they are only 3 days apart. We held a big Keg Party at our house... I wont do that again anytime soon at my own house, but it was still alot of fun :P

Do you have a favorite Birthday memory? Any horrible ones too? My worst birthday was my 12th. My birthday was a horrible time of year, its always about a week after school starts, and going into the 7th grade, I had left all my elementary friends behind and was honestly the ONLY kid in grade 7 at my new school that came from my elementary. I had made a couple friends, but wasn't quite friends enough to make plans for my birthday. A few days before my big day my neighbour brought over his pet ferret (who has these rodents as pets btw?!) and the little thing bit me! No damage done, I just went along my business, a little booboo thats all... until his mom came over and told my dad she felt he should take me to the doctor since they got the little rat from an unreliable source apparently, and had never gotten the animal any shots. So anyways I ended up going to the doctor and had to go for Rabies Shots!! YEAH! So I went to the hospital on the day before my 12th birthday and got 5 shots in the palm of my hand, a few in each arm, and 2 in my butt too! Needless to say I was not too excited about my upcoming birthday. I stayed home from school the next few days with a hand swollen to the size of a melon! And the friends I had made at my new school, showed up at my house on my birthday with an ice cream cake and gifts :) So all in all it was my worst birthday, but still a pretty good one.

Whats your birthday stories?

P.S. Happy Birthday Nippy!

CELEB CRUSHES

Let's face it...even though it seems very "highschool"...most of us can relate to "crushin'" on a favorite celeb. I've made no bones about it ...I have it bad for Clive Owen! You know the Tall, Dark and Handsome star of such great movies like Inside Man, Derailed and Closer, I fell in love with him in his rough and tough role in Sin City. He is indeed my eye-candy and sometimes for one brief moment in the deepest darkest recesses of my mind I can imagine starring opposite him in some movie made for two. Even my boyfriend is okay with this little fantasy of mine ..telling me that if I ever had a chance to be with him, he would grant me one night..so long as he could do the same with Kelly Pickler :P Fat Chance for both of us I know ....but it's fun to dream ... right? And isn't that what the movies and such are all about ...escapism in it's purest form? I thought as much. Who is the Celeb you'd have an admission ticket to be with given the chance?
